Plushie Pals

OK So I have not been sewing purses much lately. I had a crazy urge to make Halloween stuff. I also have a few friends with new little ones so I made these guys up. My friend Becky came by today and loved them so much I had to put them in the shop. The idea is as always I have every inch of there little guys sewn down so well that a baby can chew on them and in the washer and dryer they go! Super soft and lovable they are :O) They do vary in height but about 12 inches tall is the norm :O) I will also post the sewing pattern after the weekend so you can make your own :O)

Briar Patch for the season is where I'll be for the Craft Show scene. I have a few others on the books so keep your eye out as they will be posted here :O)

Karlee is born!

 

This is my baby!!!  She totally has my cheeks!!!!!

OK not really, my best friend in the world gave birth to Karlee Anne on September 3rd at 8:32am. So here is the fun part, I named my daughter after her almost 13 years ago. My Claire Elizabeth will be 13 this October. And my best friend is named ~ you guessed it~ Claire Elizabeth.  (My Grandma is also Elizabeth and she is pretty great. I was lucky to have that name thing work for my best girls all over) So Karlee is here and named after me and our third best friend in the world Anne who passed from Cancer just over a year ago. We miss her very much.  The three amigo's we were. Anne had no children so who know where the name thing might have gone :O)

So when the emails are backing up, dishes are dirty, laundry piled, to much sewing to do. Take a breath and realize how lucky you are to have amazing people who love you all over the place.

New Pleated Totes, Purses

We have the FLU!!!!

So I have not been sick a day that we have lived here in Phoenix and what do you know? On the millionth day of 110 degree weather we all get the flu! YUK!! I have been able to lay low and get some more sewing work done.

Here is the new Hip Hugger! Cutie pie!! 2 pockets on the outside and 2 on the inside make this a great hands free tote. Coming soon in more colors. I had to start with the every popular Brown Lacework and I'll move on to green next. I only have the three right now for the test run but more are in construction mode :O) What do you think??

Lately things have been crazy busy here. I have had the great pleasure to send off a few boxes to California to add my things to a wonderful little boutique. I'll share the name when the products are in place~~ There are new sewers in the midst to keep things really rolling around here. My goal is to have every order out no later than 3 days. It has been tricky getting everything to fall into place but we are working on it, slow and steady wins the race.
