My water system~

So my garden space measures 15ft by 45ft long. Here in the desert I know it is best to grow from raised beds. Soooo.... Here is the sprinkler system ready for the mass construction of the boxes. I am going back and forth between 18" & 24" tall boxes. I think that Chris has already decided which ones will be what so I'ld be smart to just go along with his design. You see, I dream the plan up and he puts all of the technical stuff to good use and rather than a slapped together hodge podge we have harmony and very well built things. It take more time that I ever like but his application of my dreams always always exceeds. Thanks honey!

 

I have 15 posts each with an octopus top for 8 tubes to carry water to each plant. I will show you how that works later.The string on the ground marks where the boxes will be built. I also want the garden to be very colorful. I am really deciding on turquoise for the fence walls. Terra Cotta paint for all of the wood garden boxes. BOLD, I know buy hey it's my garden right?

My flowers opened!

Jacob off to school and my dear hubby off to work I was welcomed by a beautiful bouquet! My cactus bloomed all at once!

 

 

 

I was so happy to see Mr. Bee was enjoying them as well.

If you live here in AZ we have a WONDERFUL food co-op called Bountiful baskets. It is the time to order and pick your pick up location. We really enjoy this co-op. You do not know what you are going to receive form week to week but the basket always overflows with fruit and veggies. For $15 every two weeks we rarely have to buy and produce for the grocery store. (Just wait until you see the garden layout for the fall. Sprinklers are done!)
